I just realised that people have added me to their neighbourhoods...but I didn't get notification from vox. So if anyone has added me to your neighbourhood, and I haven't added you back, or if you'd like to be added to my neighbourhood, please leave a comment here. I'll be more than happy to add you!
A note of warning though:
- I don't post clips, links to downloads, songs, unless in exceptional cases (i.e. when I feel like it). It's just a blog of random flailings and ramblings.
- I am very random. I am known for my randomness. So if you don't want your neighbourhood flooded by posts after long periods of inactivity, please don't add me. I won't be offended, if you're not.
- I'm in this fandom to have fun. Occasionally I am happy to entertain certain delusional thoughts for fun, mostly fantasies which have little or no chance of becoming true. That's because I need a break from reality sometimes. But this does not mean I will believe every rumour which comes to my attention. Prove it to be likely on balance of probabilities, I may believe you. Prove it beyond reasonable doubt, I probably will be willing to suspend my disbelief.
So, if you still want to be added to my neighbourhood, please leave a comment. Otherwise, thank you for taking the time to read this very nonsensical post.
I have just spent my Tuesday night watching the Budget speech. Yes, it was handed down tonight. And yes, this is the most exciting night of the economist's year. Not that I am an economist, of course.
Being as objective as I possibly can (I did vote for this current government), it probably is an appropriate budget, given the current economic situation. No doubt, it's a rather contractionary budget, with record surpluses and reduced spending growth (spending has increased, but below the rate of inflation), while living up to the election promises. And I am very glad that education, infrastructure and health have gained the attention deserved.
Yes, unemployment will rise, but I'm sure this would be preferred to unfair workplace conditions which would just lead to a growing 'working underclass'.
I'd be more supportive of the budget if he didn't cut funding to the Chamber Orchestra. Those guys work hard, and deserve the funds.
But it's a good budget. Reasonable, appropriate, and economically sound.
this will be a capless, linkless post.
another hilarious episode, with that girl who played hinata sara in HYD2 as the guest.
nino kept teasing aiba-chan for his wardrobe choice. called him "terryman".
they all got burnt trying to eat teppanyaki gyoza.
apparantly, dessert gyoza tastes like meatballs.
the guest's ideal husband is someone like sho. which got him all embarrassed.
oh, and the guest has a fetish for arms. muscular, well shaped, slightly tanned arms. so what do they do? bring on an "arms" contest, of course!
anyway, must go to sleep now. got work to do tomorow morning.

Nagasawa Masami Heading to Cannes to promote "The Hidden Fortress: The Last Princess"
He Jing Xian reporting for the InfoTimes
Director Shinji Higuchi's remake of Akira Kurosawa's "The Hidden Fortress", starring popular Japanese idols Matsumoto Jun and Nagasawa Masami, and just began its run in Japanese cinemas, will be shown in Cannes during the city's 61st International Film Festival to promote and sell the film. Matsumoto Jun and Nagasawa Masami consider this a very important opportunity for the film to gain international exposure. Both stars, when asked about what wishes they'd like to fulfill in Cannes, have said that they would like to become film fans for a day, and spotting some of their favourite stars. Nagasawa Masami, whose beautiful legs in "Socrates in Love" (also known as "Crying out Love, In the Centre of the World) attracted much attention, her presence in Cannes to promote her film will certainly attract film distributors from Taiwan.

It's (technically) Mother's Day here. And I just realised this will be the first Mother's Day spent away from my mother.
So to all the mothers out there, have a nice day!
All this talk of Ohno is making me crave Ohno-related food.
I want ramen, oyakodon, nabe, katsudon, and a whole lot of other food. ><
I'm sure everyone knows this already, so it's more for my own reference.
Thanks sableheart for the heads up! (yes, it's massive flailing time)
Yatta! Ohno in a leading role on the small screen! With Toma! *dies*
A lawyer seeking revenge...I love that idea. *dies a bit more*
And his new hair! *completely dead*
Before Jun endorsed Nex, Masha did.
This is one of the few American shows I actually enjoy. The others being House, and occasionally Oprah...yes, I do watch Oprah...
And yet another reminder of why it is so enjoyable:
It actually has very little to do with law. But I do love their methods.
They do crazy things. Like having a go at Travolta's Hairspray ways. Oh wait, was the episode made before the film? I'm not sure.
The soundtrack is pretty good.
Oh, yes, there's the quirky humour and slick sarcasm too.
It reminds me of Dragon Zakura: "The smart people make the rules. And use them. The idiots spend their entire lives suffering because they can't understand the rules."
How very true.
